Life's been good! Heading to SJSU as a music major in the fall (debated a lot about my choices, and figured SJSU was best for me musically).

So today was quite unpleasant.
Last night, around 7-8pmish, I was feeling nausous. So i went to bed.
1pmish, I woke up feeling nausous and needing to pee. so i went the toleit where i spontaenously threw up. =P
happened a few more times throughout the night.

was feeling really sick in the morning, so i couldnt go to church. i had a trombone solo too.....=P someone else covered for me.

anyways, spent most of the day in bed.

i believe that throwing up is one of the worst physical pains ever. okay under childbirth hahaha but i wouldnt know. i mean, loose stool, yeah it's unpleasant, but you're used to it coming out that end. throwing up... i think it's a prety horrible feeling.. =[

anyways. enough about childbirth and loose stool.

i think as a music major, i'm going to have to learn guitar at some point in my life. the guitar is like the most popular instrument in the world. i wonder how long i can hold off learning it haha.

anyways. colleges are sending me mail and emails all around now. like today. more so than yesterday haha. and the day before that.

What's been going on:
Charity event, last friday. Sonore is =D. Music is a great way to get chicks.... ROFL (jkjkjkgoshhaha)
Winter concert. friggen amazing =]. armenian dances, when im old, i can tell my band that i first played this in high school. =D.
Then County HOnor Band audition last night. =D=D=D=D!!!!!!!!!! WHEEE!!!!!! when i found out, i started screaming my butt off =D. my mom and dad looked at me like i was crazy hahaha.
Then rehearsal today. which was friggen amazing. I was the first person to play my concert F to tune the WHOLE BAND!!!.

hrm. I remember last year, making the band (which was pretty darn cool =D) and looking at the principle tubist and thinking "man i wish i could be just like him"
today i heard myself in a different way. like when you hear a principle player, you EXPECT good things to come from their instrument. it's weird "expecting" good things to come out of your own horn.

THIS IS FRIGGEN AWESOME =D. great honor. =].

I am feeling overwhelmed right now because:
I've got a ton of work to do to prep for being a music major like get some songs down, get more recordings down, practice my butt off even more, making sure i send in CDs to places i know i cant go to for an audition, making sure it's OKAY to send a CD instead of not showing up, filling out applications for auditions (or CDs), applications for scholarships, applications for SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS, making darn sure I get those applications for W.E. AND/OR CDs POSTMARKED on friggen time, making sure if i do decide to go to an audition that i get plane tickets or a ride down to wherever.

THen i have a ton of physio coloring. barely keeping up.

sleep deprived =D God strength.

and music is supposed to help people relax and feel better about themselves. hahahahahhaha =].

when im tired im more joking i guess.

sighs. cries. wipes tears, goes back to coloring.

i'm DONE being unhappy. i'm DONE sulking over my bruised heart.
i'm DONE feeling like absolute CRAP.

i've done absolutely NOTHIGN wrong, i made a wrong turn in my life here, but now i'm being hurt for what i believe in.
NO. this is absolutely stupid. i shouldn't be hurting. i've learned my lesson, it's time to move on.

i'm letting this world persecute me by its implications of how we should live. NO. it goes no further.

if i shed another tear, it'll be because of somethign REAL, not this BS that has taken over my life.
it stops HERE. NO MORE.

i'm done eating horribly and doubling up in pain in stats cuz my stomach hurts. i'm done letting my FAKE stupid emotions hurt me physically and mentally.
i've got TOO much damn stuff to worry about, too much on my shoulders then to let THIS stupid issue get to me.
i'm done fighting myself.

no more. it stops here.
i'm goign to be happy. TRY TO MAKE ME SAD!

k i've got that out of my system =].

today is a chill day for me. no running around. imma practice, compose a bit, then perhaps go out wiht a bud to get some coffee, and catch up on each other's lives.

So I'm at my aunt/uncle/grandma's house.
eating breakfast.
I just took a bite of an apple, that looks pretty appealing.
But to my tongue, it's pretty sour.
I think it's because of the fact that i've been eating extremely wonderfully amazingly and awesomely sweet apples from my backyard.
and my tongue can never go back...that sounded kinda dirty.

13 hours of sleep!!! 4 ish on a car ride, and 9 last night on a sofa. =DDD

I'm in LA. Walnut to be exact.
I didn't go home today. Just hopped on the car after school and took off.
Tons of traffic and rain =[. Wasn't TOO bad though, I just slept and listened to music.

Things to do this weekend.

Finish applying to UCs and CSUs.
...which means i must finally finish editing my personal statements. Any smart people wanna proofread? =D
Scholarship essay for UoP. =P darn essays.
Stats HW. =[
Finish writing band piece for County HOnor band contest.
Practice my butt off for state honor band recording on monday.

I must guard my heart. I need to rely on God. More than ever.

I'm tired, i'll go sleep now.

I'll go do UC apps now. I guess I'll submit them tomorrow at my cousin's house. His internet is faster and more reliable.

Pray for me for a safe trip back.

what i've been up to:
marchingband is over. SJSU here i come HAHA. maybe.
vanguard? i wanna try A corps, but no money i guess. =P

college sucks. i'm not even in it yet. =P
sonore is awesome. go to the charity event on dec 5th at indy to check them out =D along with many other talented groups.

idk of any current marching band members that use this except for cristina, but w.e.
if you could repost, i would be very appreciative of you. not that i'm not already, but more i guess haha. idk.

WHAT: Brass Sectionals tomorrow
WHERE: Meet in front of IHS bandroom
WHEN: 2-4 PM this WEDNESDAY
WHO: All brass members, any other section welcome to come. all non band members, but interested are also more than welcome to come.

WHY: cuz i said so.

bring water, and your horn if you have it. comfortable clothes, just like marching rehearsal.

here's the thing. though it's a brass sectional, it's not exclusive to brass. if any rooks need help, you are more than welcome to come and join us. or vets that want practice for that matter, there is no shame in that. (if anyone tells you there is, tell me and ill break their leg).

here's the other thing. though it's a marching band thing for marching band members, if you're still interested in joining the Independence High School 76th Cavalry marching band and colorguard, you can show up. we'll teach you stuff and give you info about the program.
YOU'RE NOT TOO LATE!!!!

idk, hearing it live, playing it, and listening to recording are different. different emotional reactions..

o gosh soo tired.
brass 'sectionals' today. sat around and talked about the meaning of life. and then helped make programs.
i dont like how they spell my name wrong. =/
invitational tomorrow.
*yawn*
we did presentations in our timeline groups on amendments today. and i was really bored so i took our poster and we had the 7th amendment about juries. we had a bunch of smiley heads in a box, and that was our 'jury' so i took some markers and gave a dude an afro, gave one green chickenpox and so on.. haha. i think my timeline group doesnt like me now... =[ rofl.
i was so freakin tired this morning. i really should have taken notes in math, but i just couldnt stay up. i fell asleep til the end of the period. and i really shoulda taken notes and payed attention...=P gahgaehgiouahegiuahuihh =/
spanish? nah, i coulda sleeped in that class, that class is stupid. we had a sub today, which was nice.
haha.
yay. i get to play the national anthem tomorrow w/ the seniors. maybe i should take a look at the music instead of playing random notes like i always do...=P haha.
wind ensemble. the slow choraly part in the beginning, i hate it. cuz there is too much airyness in the sound. clarinets have to much air, flutes, and me. im playing the long whole notes, and long whole notes are bad for me. its not anyone's fault, just i dont like that section. too much air in the sound, and liek a lot of it is coming from me. just makes me shudder..
im eligible for marching band (i hope) but my grades are not where they should be. =P.
i hope my mommy is okay.

i forgot to put this in for yesterday's blog.
yesterday morning, i was supertired in math. which sucks, cuz i really want to learn and pay attention, but im tired.

this one dude asked me, "hey, did you do the spanish hw?"
and me being very tired, i answer in a very drunken voice, "man, im so freaking tired man, i didnt do any of the hw man". i sounded very drunk.
and i didnt notice until the girl who sits next to me started laughing...=P.
then i went, "im sober!!!"
rofl.

yay!, i got a 96 on my physics exam. wayy better than the 52 on the last one. =P
so my grade is now a C. =]. it could be better. my teacher was proud of me though..=]

ok. today was good.
i taught evan how to flip a sousaphone. yea, evan. he really wanted to learn, and ive been meaning to teach him. im trying harder to be nice to him, though it really doesnt look like it..=P. its not something most people would understand. but im doing it anyways.
kindness, compassion, and love should go to everyone, or nobody at all. dont choose to give ur compassion to that cute girl, or dont give your love to your circle of friends only. Everyone or no one.

terri redeemed a lot of herself today. she still has much to work on, but at least her attitude is fine. i told her taht her attitude was unacceptable, so i hope that she wont ever go there again. she worked hard today, and we got a lotta stuff done. i really hope that she passes her evals.

i <3 christian club very much. =] we watched a movie today. and i saw andrew hsieh! or however you spell his last name..=P.

i love how khaled hosseini makes many referances to the bay area in the kite runner. i go, o man, i know whats he's talking about!!. so close to my home too!!.

okay, the hair on the back of my head near my neck is very strange. its long, and its curling. lol.

o man, most of the freshman, if not all, passed their evals. with really good comments!!! i feel that this year's freshman are super strong. im very proud.
i hope i pass as good as them. no lie..=P
clayton has a very buttery round tone. its in someways better than dylans. dylan has more soundy tone. clayton is softer, and rounder and like it gives you goosebumps when you hear it. his trumpet is really nice too. =]. lol. a bit of work on the posture and marching and he'll be like iono, marching god. i know, but thats the only way to describe it.
not taking away anything from dylan, he's great too. all the trumpets are great. i just wanted to highlight clayton.
if i was a senior, i would give clayton the least likely to be yelled at award. =]

me dylan and evan are gonna get all red outfits for rehearsal so we like camoflage into the big red dot. adam too. ROFL.

why do my abs hurt?
oww, i just pointed my toe, and my calf started getting pulled. it hurt..=[.
i want to be 6 feet. lol, i remember last year for wind ensemble, we were taking pictures, and the top row was all white people and anh tai. ROFL.
w/ the 6 feet, i want like 20 more pounds. =P
